This is a Full-time position in Lexington, KY posted September 12, 2021.

Based in our Lexington, Kentucky location, you will be joining a well organized, self-motivated and quality focused manufacturing team.
AS An Assembler A, YOU WILL:
Assembles and/or tests all types of valves and light cylinders as well a complex electric and/or pneumatic devices including sub-assemblies; working from written work instructions, bills of material, blueprints, schematics, pictures and process sheets.

Plans, performs and makes decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations and processes.

Utilizes manual and automated power tools and holding devices (simple to complex).

Evaluates problems and keeps Supervisor and QA Inspector informed of defects.

Requires the ability to disassemble components that have malfunctioned at test and determine reason for malfunction, make corrections and re-assemble.

Meets Aventics quality, quantity and productivity standards utilizing BPS principles and Value Stream goals.

Requires the use of basic English, grammar and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fraction; simple use of formulas, charts, tables drawings, specification, schedules, wiring diagrams, together with the use of adjustable measuring instruments, graduates, etc.

requiring interpretation in their various applications; or the posting, preparation, interpretation, use and checking of reports, forms, records and comparable data.

High School Graduate or G.E.D.

equivalent Wears all required PPE safety devices and equipment in the required manner.

Maintains work area in accordance with 5S principles and standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Note: Soldering procedure is required in various assemblies.

If applicable, associates using this procedure will be trained.

Yearly reviews, by supervisor or qualified personnel, will verify associates are correctly following procedure.

Qualifications :
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
High School Diploma or GED
Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus
Must be able to use a tape measure to the 1/16″
Must be able to stand and walk for 8 to 12 hour shifts
May be required to lift up to 50lbs
Attention to detail is key
Must be able to read and understand work instructions
Legal authorization to work in the United States
