The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of persons served/clients as they go through the rehabilitation process.QualificationsActive license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky2 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferredSubstance abuse experience preferredPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Conducts Nursing Assessments and monitoring of clientsMember of the Treatment Team.Handles the medication management; trains staff on medication dispensing.Ensures Universal Precautions of the center.Facilitates Health Education groups including General Health Education, Medication/Drug Interactions.Observe and assess clients for clinical signs and symptoms and follow the prescribed course of treatment.Determines and implements specific protocol as designated by the Doctor.The Nurse is expected to protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care, LLC/ Odyssey, Inc.’s privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with the general principle of professionalism as a health care provider.Maintain a respectful relationship with clients.Maintain confidentiality at all times displaying a professional disposition towards fellow staff.Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and consumers alike.Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise.Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.Have the ability to communicate with the Case Manager and assist in ensuring the safety of the client.Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities related to working as a member of an addiction treatment team.Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with attention to detailComputer literate with experience in a Windows environment.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize work and work-related responsibilitiesBENEFITS:Health, Vision and Dental InsuranceOptional company sponsored retirement savings plan (401k)Life Insurance as well as other optional ancillary insurance productsPaid vacation and holidaysOpportunity for advancement and professional growth with an expanding companySafe, friendly work environmentSalary market competitive and commensurate with experience.Addiction Recovery Care, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.Powered by JazzHRIjzjyAlnFfSDL2017
