Manufacturing Associate- Assembly – Louisville – Westport Road Area


This is a Full-time position in Louisville, KY posted April 6, 2021.

CorTech Industrial LLC is hiring Manufacturing Associates for a well-known and highly successful Automotive parts manufacturer in Louisville, KY.

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will perform a variety of assembly operations and processes to make completed driveshafts using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, light power tools, and equipment.EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!Will offer a $500 sign on bonus for temps starting between today and 12/21.In order to qualify please see below:You must be employed for 45 calendar days; this Does include the holiday shut down between 12/23 and 01/03.

Your attendance must be satisfactory during those 45 days!We currently have openings across all shifts!

All shifts require working 5-6 days per week (40-50 hours)with OT as necessary based on production needs.

The shift hours are:1st
– 6 am
– 2 pm (OT as necessary) $15.00/hr.

– 2 pm
– 10 pm (OT as necessary) $15.00/hr.

– 10 pm
– 6 am (OT as necessary) $15.00/hr.

As a Manufacturing Associate, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Exercising responsibility for the quantity and quality of the product.
– Fitting, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating equipment.
– Visually inspecting parts to standards, repair units, and products that fail to meet requirements or returns flawed products for rework.
– As necessary, resolving mechanical or hydraulic problems encountered during assembly.
– Performing routine maintenance on equipment as necessary.
– Performing all position responsibilities in a safe manner and in accordance with all prescribed time schedules.
– Supporting total quality management objectives in a team environment.

Requirements of the Manufacturing Associate position include:
– High school diploma or GED.
– Six months of manufacturing experience preferred.
– Familiarity with quality assurance and light computer skills desired.
– Able to lift up to 30-50 lbs.

repetitively and stand for approximately 90% of the time.
– Able to read a tape measure and micrometer.
– Able to read and understand process work instructions.
– Ability and willingness to make suggestions to supervisors as to changes or improvements to be made in the product or work area.
– Above-average attendance record.
– Must be able to work overtime, off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and shutdowns when necessary.
– Good attitude with co-workers and toward job responsibilities.
