Responsibilities

National homebuilder with a superb reputation as a leader and innovator in the industry is seeking a Land Acquisition Manager in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.

This position is responsible for land acquisition, including market analysis, site identification, feasibility and financial analysis for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Division of Drees Homes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a key contributor to the company’s success, search for and identify sufficient land and lot opportunities to meet the company’s budget. Develop a network of developers, engineers, landowners and others instrumental in achieving this goal.
  • Stay abreast of local market sales data, demographic and other information to identify areas that will provide an opportunity for home sales and sustained growth.
  • Complete preliminary due diligence to ensure properties have development potential.
  • Perform preliminary cost analyses and financial proformas for potential acquisitions.
  • Professionally represent the company in matters with planning boards, review agencies and other various entities to assist with obtaining necessary project approvals.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Highly motivated, independent and self-managed.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to deal with complex situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

The schedule of this position will be Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM plus additional hours as necessary. Excellent salary and benefits package including profit sharing and 401(k) plans.
