nnJob Title: Senior Level Program Managernn nnLocation: Frankfort, KYnn nnDuration: Long-Term Indefinite Contractnn nnInterview: Only 1 round (Microsoft Teams Video Conference)nn nn n nn nnJob Descriptionnn nnClient is seeking an experienced, capable Certified Senior Level Program Manager to lead and oversee complex and challenging Enterprise Electronic Health Record project to modernize the delivery of health record services to the Department for Public Health, Department for Medicaid Services and The Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.

The individual in this position will coordinate the efforts of multiple, multi-disciplinary projects and teams, comprised of state members, clinicians, vendors, and consultant resources.

Keys to success include strong organizational skills, project initiation and planning activities, communications planning, issue and risk management, and implementation planning and delivery.nn nnMust have experience managing large scale, high-visibility projectsnn nnMust have strong organizational change management skills, including business process analysis, negotiation, and conflict resolutionnn nnMust have experience implementing Electronic Health Records systems and implementing other change/systems in a clinical settingnn nnPrimary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):nn nnResponsible for coordination, planning, and organization of project activities.nn nnInterface with all areas affected by the project, including end users, vendors, and project staff.nn nnPerform analysis and negotiation of project scope, budget, and schedule and perform management of the vendor contract.nn nnAssist with planning of resources for projects.nn nnProactively manage and track project risks, issues, budget, and schedule.nn nnKeep business sponsors and management advised of project status.nn nnEnsure that applicable CLIENT-OATS system design life cycle (SDLC) processes are being followed.nn nnOversee vendor and project team members” work and deliverables to ensure compliance with contract.nn nnExperience in implementing Federal and/or State regulation changes.nn nnProvide project status reportsnn nnRequired Qualifications:nn nnBachelor”s degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience.nn nnPMP Certification.nn nnProficient in Microsoft Product Suites, (Word, Excel, Project, and Visio).nn nnDemonstrated ability to lead small to large size project teams.nn nnPrior IT experience in the public health domain and managing IT projects.nn nnPrior experience managing issues, scope, quality, escalations, and risks.nn nnProven track record of successfully managing IT projects, collaborating across business and IT teams.nn nnProficient in standard project management tools and methodologies, excelling in Microsoft Project, and PMI methodologies.nn nnMust be experienced in management of vendors and contracts for large scale information technology projects.nn nnPossess strong written and verbal communication skills.nn nnAbility to lead meetings, lead project teams, and communicate effectively at all levels within the project.nn nnMust be self-motivated and able to exercise sound decision making skills.nn nnPrior experience in managing large scale, enterprise wide projects utilizing Microsoft based technologies.nn nnPrior process improvement experience.nn nnRequests for proposal or bid development.nn nnExperience with healthcare research, healthcare planning, and healthcare financial management.nn nnExperience with healthcare policy interpretation, development, and implementation.nn nnResearch skills.nn nnExperience with analysis of regulatory authority, legislative action, and CMS guidelines.nn nnSuccessful candidate will have experience with at least two (2) of the following areas:nn nnEHR/EMRnn nnLocal Health Departments or programs they providenn nnPublic Healthnn nnBehavioral Healthnn nnHospital or Health Care Provider Groupnn nnMedical Clinicnn nnCMS APD”snn nnRFP”snn nnMedicaidnn nnVendor Managementnn nn nn nnby Jobblenn
